Dorota Garstka - Legal advisor, member of the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Łódź, Doctor of Law, Mediator.
I have been running my private practice since 2002.
I worked for several years in the European Commission, in the Legal Department (DG REGIO) as a lawyer responsible for matters from Central and Eastern Europe.
I was a representative of Poland in the CIEC (Commission Intenationale de L'Etat Civil).
Member of the ILA (International Law Association).

For many years I was an academic lecturer at WPiAUŁ and other social and private universities.
I still conduct training activities for chambers of legal advisers, chambers of advocates and notaries in Poland and training activities outside Poland - in the field of private and public international law.
I am an author of articles on the legal aspects of national minorities as well as the EU administration and European institutions.
I have experience in managing legal teams in local government and government units - (as a coordinator of legal advisers - head of a department, deputy director and director of a legal office)
I conduct cross-border mediation thanks to the knowledge of several foreign languages. I am always look for the optimal economic solutions for my clients. Whenever possible, I am to use out-of-court dispute resolution methods, which I consider to be optimal for the client's interests.
I have experience in administrative, civil, family and economic, criminal and self-government cases. I handle a lot of cases in cross-border and international cases.
